SG Blocks is a company affiliated with Lawrence Group that specializes in creating building components from recycled shipping containers.
The Harbinger, featured at the West Coast Green Conference in San Jose, California in late September 2008, is the prototype SG Blocks™ Home for mass production. Lawrence Group provided architectural design services.
The Prototype SG Blocks Home is “Green Point Rated”, a third party rating system for homes based on a set of green building measures pulled from the Green Building Guidelines and used to evaluate a home’s environmental performance from BUILD IT GREEN.
Lawrence Group also designed the show house for theEcoBuild Conference in 2007 in Washington DC.
