Challenge

St. Charles Community College chose to expand their culinary arts and agriculture programs to meet the needs of their students and surrounding community.

Solution

The College worked with Lawrence Group to transform a former gymnasium on their Dardenne Creek campus into a modern agriculture and food science facility. Completed in 2020, the new space features a bakery, test kitchen, commercial kitchen and a brewing lab. The facility is also used for crop research and development.
