Lawrence Group Designs Distinctive Interior for Pink Willow Café in Historic Cottleville, MO

by Lawrence Group

Pink Willow Café is a vibrant new brunch experience designed by Lawrence Group in historic Cottleville, MO.

Providing interior design and furniture procurement, Lawrence Group (LG) envisioned a soft pink- and green-inspired space for the local restauranteurs and their 1,200-square-foot boutique brunch restaurant. Lawrence Group’s designers worked with general contractor Eagle Construction & Restoration and Architect Roberto Chacon at an accelerated schedule to turn the space over to full operation within nine months from design start to construction finish.

With a limited footprint and tight timeframe to work around, Lawrence Group’s talented hospitality designers implemented creative design solutions and furniture options to accommodate a full kitchen, bar, and dining for 35 customers while reflecting the café’s distinctive brand.

“To maximize seating in the space, LG designed a 30-foot-long, custom banquette that runs the full length of the dining space,” said Lawrence Group Design Professional Samantha Beiter. “All the dining tables are two-tops that can be pushed together or set apart to create maximum flexibility for any size group. Soft colored wood and pink-metal chairs and white tables create the intimate dining experience desired by the owners.”

Playful elements such as a biophilic neon sign, custom willow tree mural by Sweet Dreams Murals, arched openings, soft wood tones, pink and brass light fixtures, a pink ceiling, and herringbone wood-look vinyl floor combine to unify the space and encourage intimate connections between the patrons.
