True Residential sought to create an appointment-only, high-end showroom which could best embody their brand and new products. Lawrence Group’s workplace and retail practices collaborated to realize this vision, designing a large showroom with distinct zones that allow various design styles to individually shine while maintaining a cohesive overall aesthetic.
The Main showroom includes vignettes of a modern family kitchen, a swanky cocktail bar, and a speakeasy with backlit onyx details. In addition to the vignettes, the space features a gallery showcasing multiple built-in refrigeration product lines and a variety of custom finishes that True products are known for. Framed against the backdrop of the St. Louis skyline, an exterior-inspired vignette utilizes acoustic wood-look products that visually mimic an outdoor trellis and create a setting that embodies a high-end rooftop kitchen.
Branding throughout the showroom utilizes archival photography from True’s long history and product line, in addition to digital media displays that allow current social media content, installation portfolios, and current products and finishes to be showcased as quickly as they become available.
