Members of the Lawrence Group team celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Roy Blunt Health Professions Hall in Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

The 55,000-square-foot facility will serve as a new home for SEMO’s Department of Allied Health, Kinesiology, and Sport Sciences, supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals through modern classrooms, specialized laboratories, collaborative learning environments, and hands-on training spaces designed to reflect real-world healthcare settings.

Designed to address the growing demand for healthcare workers across Missouri and the region, the project represents a significant investment in workforce development, student success, and the future of healthcare education.

Lawrence Group is proud to be part of the team and officially begins the construction of a facility that will support students, educators, healthcare systems, and communities for years to come.

Construction on the Roy Blunt Health Professions Hall is expected to be completed in 2028.
