Lawrence Group designed the initial 3DEN location at Hudson Yards, a social lounge concept with a lot of similarities to a high-end airport lounge, but in a dense urban setting. The program of the space includes a mix of curated retail, co-working amenities, and spa-like features all built around a subscription-based user group.
The central focus of the design revolves around a 14′ tall live tree in a Corten steel planter, with hundreds of hanging brass planters throughout the space. An illuminated perforated metal ceiling accentuates a main circulation zone. The facade is composed of three living wall panels and a sculptural plaster form curving towards the entry.
