Lawrence Group was selected to develop a master plan for Willoughby Heritage Farm and and Conservation Reserve in 2024. The park, which was previously a working farm owned and operated by the Willoughby family for decades, is one of Collinsville’s best kept secrets. The site features several historic barns that have been relocated from throughout the region, offering visitors a glimpse into how a working farm in the 1940’s would have operated. Visitors can pet and interact with an eclectic array animals, tour the barns, and enjoy over 30 acres of trails in the conservation reserve.
This master plan will be used to provide a roadmap for the next 10+ years of improvements and upgrades to the park. Lawrence Group’s Landscape Architects are developing recommendations for increasing accessibility, revenue, and park user experience.
