Lochmueller Group faced a host of challenges in their former dated space, which scarcely reflected the culture and innovative work approach of their team. Seeking to address these issues, Lochmueller Group decided to relocate their offices to City Foundry STL, where an available white-box space provided a new home tailored to their needs.
The new Lochmueller Group workspace embraces a more flexible approach, offering sit-to-stand solutions at every desk while seamlessly integrating technology for staff. The heart of their new home is the full-service work café with multiple styles of seating, technology and an ability to both work and gather in the multipurpose space. The open office is planned around a 2-story monitor in the original City Foundry roof, inviting generous sunlight while creating an airy sense of volume in the space. Elements of Lochmueller Group culture, such as the firm’s CARDIA Values wall graphic at the main entrance, are reinforced throughout the design. Biophilic elements such as a preserved moss wall create connections to nature, further enhanced by the site’s connection to City Foundry’s amenities and the broader Great Rivers Greenway trail network.
“I can’t thank Lisa Morrison and her team enough for their exceptional work in helping us create a wonderful new atmosphere in our office at St. Louis City Foundry. From the very beginning, their creativity, attention to detail, and understanding of our vision made the process seamless and enjoyable. They carefully considered our needs and preferences, transforming the space into a functional, stylish, and inspiring environment that truly reflects the Lochmueller Group culture. Their professionalism and passion for design are unmatched, and the results speak for themselves. We couldn’t be happier with our new office, and I highly recommend the Lawrence Group to anyone looking to elevate their space.”
