Lawrence Group is leading the design of a cutting-edge facility to advance Southeast Missouri State University’s expanding Allied Health, Kinesiology, and Sports Sciences program. The Roy Blunt Health Professions Hall is a three-story building, replacing the existing Dearmont Hall. It will showcase modern, state-of-the-art classrooms, experiential learning labs, and innovative specialty spaces. Highlights include a food science demonstration kitchen, advanced exercise science CLABS, and technology-rich clinical and laboratory environments designed to simulate real-world practice. The facility will also provide dedicated faculty collaboration zones, encouraging cross-disciplinary partnerships and hands-on training opportunities. This transformative space is designed to elevate the student experience, support faculty innovation, and reinforce the university’s commitment to top-tier education and training in health, exercise, and sports sciences.
