The University of Illinois Research Park Apartments project aims to create a vibrant, accessible, and comfortable living environment for all residents. The project will have a total construction cost of $52 million and provide 360 residential beds across a combination of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. The project will feature five to six standalone, walk-up apartment buildings, each constructed with wood and rising three stories.
In addition to the residential units, the project will include an 8,000 square foot community building designed to support the needs of the residents. This building will house a variety of amenities, including meeting rooms, fitness rooms, and other shared spaces designed to enhance the community experience.
