Tend Wins Merit ADC Award

by Lawrence Group

Within a year of opening their first location, Tend was recognized at the 99th Annual Art Directors Club Awards in New York. Tend’s new dental concept received a Merit honor for Spatial Design in the health/medical center category.

Architectural design for the new dental studios was led by Tom Lekometros, Matt Lundgren and Elizabeth Zagarello from Lawrence Group’s New York office. Since 2018, Lawrence Group has provided architectural design services for six dental studio locations and is currently working on several more.

Tend’s hospitality-meets-healthcare concept is a new entry to the dental market, focusing on wellness and the patient experience. The brand’s vision is to redefine the dental experience by offering top-notch dental care in a soothing, modern environment.

The annual ADC Awards are presented by The One Club for Creativity, a global nonprofit organization supporting and celebrating creativity. The awards program celebrates the best in advertising, design, packaging and digital media, with a focus on craftsmanship and innovation. Additionally, at 99 years old, the ADC Awards is one of the world’s longest running global design competitions.
